Versatile Booties

I’m sharing three of my most versatile booties that I recently purchased to get me through this fall and the start to winter. It had been a while since I invested in some new boots. Honestly, I’m pretty picky because with the amount of walking I do throughout  NYC each pair needs to be able to transition from day to night and stand some wear and tear . Most importantly, they must be comfortable and last for at least two seasons!

Keeping my boots from my students paint splatters is a whole other dilemma and I finally rotated some of them that I could wear to work on days such as those or change into  (note to self- don’t wear suede to work on painting days ! )

This season there have been so many sales and promotions on footwear from all the major retailers that there’s no sense in paying full price. These three will go with pretty much any outfit and are a low enough heel that walking or standing for a while stand the  test of time.

I’ve also listed similar styles that I’m loving right now or also have tried from a range of brands and price points.

Leopard Booties:  A New Day (from Target I didn’t want to invest in something that could go out of style or I wouldn’t wear as frequently. These are fun and comfortable. I sized up a half size so I can wear a thicker sock in winter months. You could also go true to size. The material is a velvet like texture.

Brown Leather Booties: Sam Edelman  currently on sale with an additional 20% off!Hands down always the most comfortable brand of shoes and boots that last because of their comfort and quality! They’re addicting! The heel is just enough and the color is a gorgeous soft leather.

Black Suede Booties: Dolce Vita love the pointed toe and the lower heel that pairs well with pants or skirts and dresses. I'm also loving the heel details on this grey pair The leopard style with a pointy toe are gorgeous and on sale! Fit is true to size.

I love this Marc Fisher style with the rich looking toe area. These always seem to sell out fast since they're so similar for the higher priced Acne Studio Jenson boot.

Ruffled Sleeve Sweater & Fall Sale Booties

My booties are Dolce Vita and currently on sale with the veterans weekend sale taking place and won’t last long! They're less than $90 at Lord & Taylor with an additional 20% off!

They fit true to size, and do take some time breaking in for the fact they’re a pointy toe. However, totally worth it because the suede pairs perfectly with skirts and dresses for a casual look. I do have narrow feet so maybe not as comfortable for wide width feet.

I found this Cynthia Rowley sweater at TJ Max and it also would work well for tucking into a skirt since it’s not super long in length like I usually wear my sweaters. I've been shopping online and it's less overwhelming than going through the craziness of racks and those long lines. Has anyone else tried this yet?

This sweater is a super soft turtle neck and not itchy at all ! I’ve linked very similar styles that would pair well with pants or skirts. My leopard print clutch is a leather version from Italy and folds over. I'm listing similar finds at different price points below.

Happy fall sales weekend! Nordstrom's weekend sale ends this evening so check it out while it's on, they're price matching and many styles are on sale up to 40% off.

BOOTS: Dolce Vita , also love the leopard and patent leather pair

SWEATER: ruffled sleeve option and love this one. Also the cardigan versions like this cardigan and this color are so gorgeous too. Lot's of similar options from TJMAXX too.

PANTS: Banana Republic Also love my Paige (legging denim) and Joe's black denim too!

LEOPARD CLUTH: BPSole Society: black and leopard fold over, Sole society all leopard (on sale!)

Softest Eyelash Cardigan

This eyelash long cardigan sweater is thick, warm, and so so soft ! I couldn't resist the contrast of the black and white with the plush texture. The best part is I found it at 60 % off! It was the perfect layer to wear walking around the city over the weekend while we had family in town for a wedding.

We took advantage of the sunny weather and played tourist for the day. I couldn't believe how developed and changed the water front is from Brookfield Place to Battery Park downtown.
