Valentine's Love for Entertaining

Happy February friends! If you’re someone who loves the over indulgence of chocolate and candy galore and ready to treat yourself or share your love with friends this February I have some hostess and gifting ideas for you! 

So taking a few steps back I can’t help but get nostalgic over the little metal mail boxes in the dollar section at Target that caught my eye. Now I wish when I was a kid I had that adorable box on my desk when it was time to exchange Valentine’s and treats with everyone! And working in a school definitely makes me constantly think of those moments and smile when I see students exchanging their valentines. So if we exchanged with our friends as kids to share love why not keep the tradition going ?! Whether single or taken I’ve rounded up some fun and creative ways to show your appreciation for good friends and loved ones - and to treat yourself. I personally just enjoy a night in and pampering myself with spa products. My husband and me usually do something low key like cooking in together then seeing a movie. However, I think this year he may be working so I have a "galentine's" night planned with one of my best friends. 

A lot of these items I'm sharing are great for a hostess, a teacher, or a friend. 

Valentine's Day Outfits for Any Occassion

There are so many ways to get into the Valentine's Day vibe whether you're spending the night in for "Galentine's" night of entertaining, heading out on the town on a date, to keeping it casual or just staying in. February has me crushing on lots of sale styles and so many shades of pink and blush. There's so many different ways some of these pieces can be styled and also worn for other occasions. Versatile pieces are so important for the simplest wardrobe. 

I'm always one for a red or bright pink lip and a LBD if you're not into sporting the pink like you're part of Mean Girls crew. Anything goes when you're wearing what you're most comfortable in! Anyone else look forward to the candy sales the day after ? Now that’s self love! 

So many great sales on a lot of these pieces. I kicked off superbowl weekend and welcomed February with some comfy lounge clothes.

Winter Grey for a Casual Day

This grey sweater has become my tried and true go to for the winter. It's super soft has a great flutter sleeve and the turtle neck stays in place, it's warm without being itchy. I found it at TJMaxx and have shared some similar styles I love like this this grey option. My necklace is one of my favorites from bauble bar. 

My denim are Paige and run true to size. I love mixing prints and have been matching some as well lately like my favorite leopard belt and booties. After a snowy winter I'm anxious to find out Friday's ground hog outcome! I get a lot of questions on this Rebecca Minkoff bag! I love the wine color and it's the perfect size that can be converted to wear various ways. The strap is removable. Right now the website has tons of styles and colors all on sale too!
