Birchbox Beauty

For those of you who haven't heard or have been curious about trying Birchbox it is a must for any aged woman who loves beauty products. Birchbox is a monthly beauty subscription that can be customized to your liking to receive beauty samples of hair care products, facial care, makeup, fragrances, and more. It also makes for a great gift, for both woman and men! Yes, there is Birchbox for men too. My boyfriend subscribed before me and has been looking forward to trying new products for beard, face, and body before committing at a store. Each artistically designed box is full of at least 5 samples based on your customization of products. It  also contains a list of the products and prices if you chose to order it in the Birchbox online store. I have been using Birchbox for 5 months and love trying new products to update my daily routine.

January's box was themed for the New Year. My favorite product I'll definitely be ordering in full size is the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray that works your hair way more than a dry shampoo, adding texture and extra oomph when needed. These products were all perfect for my gym and work bag on the go!

New Year Glam

I love a pencil skirt that is flattering to a tall figure and this faux leather one is great quality that fit the bill from Zara!  I paired it with a more casual plaid top and pumps for a New Year's eve look that would also work great for holiday parties or a night out. The look can easily be dressed up with accessories. I have linked all options at the end of this post.

Wishing everyone a very Happy & Healthy 2016!  I can't wait to see what this year brings! I'm wishing for adventures in travel, a healthier daily lifestyle, and making time for more creativity in my life! What are your New Year wishes?

Merry and Bright Style

This Christmas holiday I went for a bright look instead of the traditional holiday colors. And with no snow upstate this year and weather warmer than usual  I braved a winter white pant. I was very much looking forward to taking a break from the big apple and relaxing with family and friends. I'm currently loving lightweight and soft cashmere tunics this season for their versatility. This one from Nordstorm is long enough for leggings and comes in tons of colors. Oh, it's also on sale!  Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!
